So I was getting stressed out about coming up with an ad idea. But then I came home and started making stuff, printing, tearing, and stapling.

Basically, I made a fake "kraigslist" ad about someone selling a signed guitar (by britney spearz)... and then went from there. It's not really done. But I'm happy so far.

Nice idea. Though the bloody circle is kinda creepy.

I didnt see a bloody circle. I saw someone finding an ad they were interested in and taking a red marker and circling it.

It's because the lines look kinda...drippy? That's just what I see anyway. Maybe if the lines were of even width because sharpie has that pointed tip. The current lines (if made from a marker) would be from those with a flat tip.

That is awesome. I told you! you CAN DO IT! ( i don't know about BS but LOL ..and Nathan and I did try to think of songs and places we came up with the same ones Guns and Roses Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle and there are bands named after places Chicago Boston... and the song Detroit Rock City, Bowie- Suffragette City. I don't know if punks are as nostalgic about utopian places, you know... check Last Fm :B ya the red circle reminds me of Desperately Seeking Susan

maybe using a highlighter would solve the bloody circle problem? it didn't bother me too much- i love this idea.

i love that your work is..i don't know how to explain it but it always has a "raw" quality to it.
but yes, everything looks perfectly placed and very professional.

okay i love this idea! its so simple and creative. by the way i don't see a bloody circle...someone is just over analyzing. However i might try to make the fake kraig's list ad a little bigger because i want to read it. i could be wrong though because it just may appear smaller on your blog. but great job this is awesome.

wow! you have more comments than any entry I've seen so far this semester...which must mean it's controversial if not brilliant.
I like the idea. A lot.
it doesn't take itself seriously and capitalizes on pop culture and the hilarity that is found therein.
You've got the first ad ready..now let's see what you can do with number 2 and number 3 Ad. you can do it.
very nice job.
