Dogtoberfest 2009

Everyone should come out to Dogtoberfest this Sunday in the Oakhurst neighborhood! I designed the logo for it, and I'm going to have a booth where I'm selling some shirts, prints, magnets and some other stuff. It's to raise money for them to get a dog park in their area... so come out and see it and visit me :)

Oakhurst's 1st Annual Dogtoberfest! DATE: Sunday, October 4 TIME: 2PM - 6PM LOCATION: The Solarium (321 West Hill St., Decatur GA 30030) MUTT STRUTT & COSTUME CONTEST: Registration begins at 1:45 at Taj Ma-Hound (707 D East Lake Dr., Decatur GA 30030)

Join us for a day of fun filled activities for you and your dog! We're kicking things off at 2pm with a Mutt Strutt starting at the Taj Ma-Hound Bakery for Dogs and ending on the Solarium lawn. Costumes are welcome with prizes for Scariest, Goofiest, Prettiest, Funniest, Best Group Costume and Most Original. Get your dog Microchipped by Animal Action Rescue. Adopt a new family member from a local rescue. Learn from the professional trainers at Frogs to Dogs. They'll be taking your questions and introducing the Emergency Animal Transport Vehicle, the first of its kind in GA. And don't miss The Marketplace for cool new collars and leashes, delicious dog treats, doggie photography, apparel and lots more. We even have fun events for the kids so please come out and support our first annual event! Admission is free but we will be accepting donations for food, beverages and Dogtoberfest activities. Design Inspiration

I am inspired by a lot of different styles. I don't really have specific artists that I am inspired by, but I do have websites that I go to whenever I need inspiration.

My top choice is Design Sponge. I love this site. She posts so much stuff, and my favorites are the awesome patterns and graphic-like illustrations. Here are a few images that have given me inspiration from the site...
