Package Design Update...

I decided to go with the same whacked out cartoon-style that I used for my squirrel logo. I want to do a thin cardboard (chip board?) to make the actual package and to keep it the natural brown color with these blue labels on the front and back. I want the package to be completely redesigned (the shape and style of it). So, I need to work on building that as well. Can you see where my inspiration came from? :)

Package Design

For my package design project I decided to re-design a dog treat box. I have yet to buy the dog treats yet, but today at Petsmart I realized that most dog treat packaging is pretty ugly which to me was surprising. Here are some examples of some not-so-attractive dog treat packaging:

  

I am definitely planning on using my new pup as some inspiration and I want to do a more hand-drawn, cartoon-like package that is still very clean and almost boutique looking.

Meet Dexter!

We picked up my foster puppy Dexter today! He is very shy, but extremely sweet. I can't wait to see even more of his already goofy personality!
